It take me some time to find the right pitcher for my needs. I was looking for one that would be suitable for hot drinks. I used it for the first time today, poured boiling water and it didn't crack. The glass is not super thick but is durable. I also like its simple yet elegant look. Highly recommended.
I love it. ! Boil water in it on the stove, add tea, steep, remove tea bags, add ice stir and serve! Easy!
It is light weight and survives temp. changes from boiling to icy. Nice strainer lid. Handsome design, big comfortable handle.
My only criticism is that all this is not explained on the package. (On Amazon's website it is clear.) I sent it as a gift, and I will have to call and explain, because it does not look like it should be put on a flame!
This pitcher is the perfect size for my homemade lemonade. It holds roughly 50oz of liquid, and is made of a special glass that can withstand temperatures of up to 300 degrees. Because of that, you can also use this pitcher to hold and dispense hot liquids as well. This carafe has a stainless steel lid, with a rubber seal, so that your liquids stay fresh and it is leakproof. Both the lid and the pitcher itself are extremely easy to clean...you can even clean it in the dishwasher. I love how the pitcher has a very wide mouth. If you want to dispense ice with your liquid, simply take off the lid and pour. This glass pitcher is lovely and makes a beautiful addition to the glassware in my kitchen. If you are looking for a new stylish pitcher, this one is very eye-catching and practical.
I do wish we purchased a larger size but it holds a decent amount of liquid. I personally use it to store my coffee in the refrigerator for the next day. It can obviously be used for other drinks like water or tea.
I think this is made with the same kind of glass that is used for Pryex.
It withstands banging, bumping, dishwasher and me. It's sturdy and the lid stays put.
A very pretty carafe that look great on the dining table.
Beautiful pitcher, perfect for iced tea. The lid comes with a filter so I can throw the tea leaves loose into the water and put the carafe into the fridge. Next day just pour
Elegant enough to go straight into the table.
I bought a couple of these to replace other glass pitchers that I store cold brewed coffee in. The other pitchers made a mess in the refrigerator door, due to drips after pouring. (Even when I wiped them off after pouring, they still made a mess.) These keep my refrigerator door shelf clean. They don't seem to hold as much as the old !L pitchers, but they are good enough.
