Best Glass Teapots

“I’ve had several teapots over the years, ceramic, glass, and plastic, in addition to loose tea infusers in every size and shape. This is my favorite. It’s the perfect size, brewing two medium-sized mugs of tea. It really does make a difference having such a large basket for the tea leaves to float around in. Also, the spout is perfectly designed and does not dribble hot tea out while pouring. The price is fantastic, too.”

Loose Leaf And Blooming Glass Tea Pot 950ml/17oz

4.4 stars, 1,214 reviews

“This is a fabulous little teapot. I wanted a glass pot because I purchased the flowering tea balls and I wanted something pretty to brew them in. But I also wanted something practical for those times when I want to brew loose tea. This pot is perfect. The inner mesh strainer is easily removable so you can use it or not. I chose this pot in particular because it didn’t have the delicate glass spout that sticks out and takes up room. I love the modern shape. It holds enough water for several cups of tea.”

“This is a really cute, fun, useful little teapot! We have used it with both loose teas and tea bags. It is fun for us to watch the colors permeate through the metal filter and slowly color the water. It has worked flawlessly both on the stove top and in the microwave (with the metal filter taken out, of course). Overall, if you are looking for a smaller, well-made, sturdy teapot for the money — then you should consider this teapot.”

Round Glass Teapot 1300ml/44.0oz

4.3 stars, 586 reviews

“I’ve never used a teapot before and I’ve only recently got into trying to infuse looseleaf tea. Though I don’t claim to be an expert, I am thoroughly satisfied with this teapot and infuser. Aesthetically, it is quite clean, cute, and modern. The glass teapot as well as the metal parts seem to be constructed well and with good materials. I have decent sized hands and the handle is ergonomically comfortable. It is easy to clean and doesn’t take up a lot of space.”

“The crown jewel of my teapot collection. Cast-iron teapots have become my go-to because of their heat retaining properties. I have owned ceramic and glass as well, but since buying a small secondhand cast-iron teapot at an antique store, I was amazed and needed a large one as well for when there’s more than just me around (I call it my ‘party pot’). It has an internal, solid porcelain enamel that keeps the inside from rusting. It has an appropriately medium-large straining basket within, and the handle is very sturdy.”

Pearl Cast Iron Teapot 600ml/27oz

$27 (was $54, now 50% off) 4.2 stars, 414 reviews

“The best teapot I have ever owned! I am a self-confessed tea snob, importing teas from all over the world, taking care and time with brewing each cup I drink, so when I say this is the best I truly mean it. No other teapot has ever come close to the results provided by this one! The temperature consistency, the rate at which it reaches temperature, and the length of time it holds the temperature, is phenomenal. The temperature qualities also result in the smoothest-tasting cup of tea as all the heat goes to the tea. The pot is not only utilitarian, it is beautiful. The details and colors are amazing and it is the centerpiece of any counter or table I put it on.”

“I consider myself a tea enthusiast. Every time I have company over and serve tea in this pot, I get literal shrieks of delight! ‘How charming!’ ‘Where did you find it?’ ‘Did you get it in Japan?’ I kid you not! It’s always a fantastic conversation starter for my afternoon teas. Great quality and beautiful craftsmanship. I bought a tea light warmer to complete the effect; it’s officially my favorite appliance.”

I love tea. Got this for home use. I like the design of the handle. I’m planning on get some new small tea cups. The size is smaller than I expected. It’s a good fit for weekend relax when you drink tea and read or talk with friend. Not quite good if you are in need of a big amount of tea. It’ll be better if they come with matching tea cups though.
